what is geo?
The GEO Environmental Science and Design Academy provides strong academic coursework and real world based projects that deepen students’ appreciation of our environment and its natural resources. Students are able to gain knowledge and skills to actively improve their community and protect the environment.
The GEO Academy Curriculum prepares students for entrance into Four Year Universities and Green Collar Careers in the following pathways:

This curriculum is guided by following the principles that foster Environmental Awareness and Community Responsibility. Students participate in programs such as
Student Landowner Education and Watershed Stewardship (S.L.E.W.S.) which engage CA High School students in Habitat Restoration projects that enhance classroom learning, develop leadership skills, and result in real positive impact for the environment.
Students are also involved in FARMS, which introduces them to the importance of Environmental-Sound Practices that preserve land and its resources for future generations.
